FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: foam generator comprises a sprayer, a foam nozzle and two-phase flow divider. The sprayer is connected to the foam nozzle housing made in the form of a cylindrical shell mounted coaxially and axially relative to the sprayer, and on the foam nozzle housing in the part closer to the sprayer at least three windows for ejecting air are made, and at the output the two-phase flow divider is fixed. The sprayer housing is formed with a channel for supplying the liquid and has a coaxial sleeve rigidly connected with the housing, with a nozzle fixed at its lower part, made in the form of a cylindrical two-stage sleeve, which upper cylindrical stage is connected by a threaded connection with a central core, made with the annular gap with respect to the inner surface of the cylindrical sleeve, and consisting of a cylindrical part with a spherical segment fixed coaxially with it in the lower part, having the throttle holes, which axes are located along the radii of the spherical surface forming the spherical segment, and the annular gap is connected with at least three radial channels made in the two-stage sleeve, connecting it with an annular cavity formed by the inner surface of the sleeve and the outer surface of the upper cylindrical stage, and the annular cavity is connected to the channel of the housing for supplying the liquid. On the lateral surface of the cylindrical part of the central core, in its lower part connected to the spherical segment at least two rows of cylindrical throttle holes are made with axes lying in planes perpendicular to the core axis, and in each row at least three holes are made. The axes of the throttle holes of one row are displaced relative to the axes of the throttle holes of another row by the angle lying in the range of 15°÷60°. According to the invention, the two-phase flow divider is made in the form of a set of series-connected meshes formed by two conical surfaces having a common circular base fixed to the ejecting nozzle housing. The apices of the conical surfaces lie on the axis of the housing, and the conical surface facing the sprayer is made filled, and a conical surface facing the cutoff of the ejecting nozzle is made truncated with a base located in the cutoff plane of the ejecting nozzle.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of spraying of the fire-extinguishing liquid solution of the foam generator.
