FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a water purification technology and can be used to treat wastewater from heavy metal ions. Purification method from heavy metal ions involves the treatment of wastewater with ground waste of a non-autoclaved foam medium density D200 with grain sizes of 0.114–0.315 mm, obtained with the use of a foaming agent on a protein basis with a concentration in the aqueous solution of the foaming additive of 3–5 mas. %.
EFFECT: invention provides purification of waste water from ions of several heavy metals simultaneously, an increase in the filtration rate, a reduction in cleaning time, a decrease in the sorbent layer and its economy.
