FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: prestressed metal structure - beam - is made of previously bent upper belt, to which support elements are fixed in advance with slots for stressed elements, and lower belt from stressed elements. At initial stage of manufacturing, auxiliary composite beam is assembled from overlying upper belt of manufactured beam and rigidly fixed underlying power thermal element for mechanical action at upper belt of manufactured beam. Power thermal element is detachable and is made of upper and lower zones of heating. At the initial stage power thermal element is heated up to rated high temperature. Afterwards elements - tie bars with anchors at the ends - are installed in slots of support elements, and lower unstressed belt of manufactured metal beam is produced. To develop prestressing in this belt and to further removal of manufactured beam from power thermal element, in the latter upper zone of heating is cooled down to normal temperature, and temperature of lower heating zone is increased, where additionally power thermal element is bent, and therefore forces of rigid connection of upper and lower parts of auxiliary composite beam are thus reduced. In process of installation and after tensioning of stressed elements - tie bars - along length of middle part of manufactured beam, between its upper and lower belts, stabilisers of prestressing are installed and rigidly fixed. Afterwards power thermal element is disconnected with manufactured prestressed metal beam, which is removed, canted and installed into design position. Device is proposed for prestressing of metal structures.
EFFECT: method improvement.
