SUBSTANCE: instantaneous voltage and current values are measured in each phase at the same time instants with a sampling interval and then stored as present values. These signals are simultaneously differentiated. Ohmic resistance K and capacitance C of each phase of the capacitor installation is are determined for at least three time instants. Equivalent parametres of each phase of the capacitor installation which are used as final results are determined as the arithmetic average of the obtained ohmic resistance and capacitance values.
EFFECT: method of determining parametres of a capacitor installation based on using a series equivalent circuit of a capacitor which provides the best accuracy.
