FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to methods for artificial drying of vegetation mass, and may be used to produce dried grass fodders. Method provides for mowing grass or collection of other vegetation mass, its grinding and drying. Drying of vegetation mass is carried out under conditions of extreme underpressure in tightly closed reservoir with thermal energy arriving to dried vegetation mass through reservoir walls heated during daytime with direct or reflected solar radiation. Water vapours released in process of vegetation mass heating are diverted to condensation plant, operation of which is provided with the help of cooler or refrigerating plant. Non-condensed gases from reservoir and condensation plant are pumped by vacuum pump.
EFFECT: invention application makes it possible to reduce inputs of energy required to dehydrate vegetation mass.
