FIELD: chemistry; biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. A nutritional composition is used to stimulate intestinal barrier integrity, where the said composition contains eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA), at least two different oligosaccharides with homology in monosaccharide units of less than 90% and optionally acidic oligosaccharides, as well as optionally nucleosides and/or nucleaotides in amount of 1-500 mg per 100 g of the dry composition. Content of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids with 20-22 carbon atoms does not exceed 15 wt % of the total fat content. Acidic oligosaccharides contain at least one acid group selected from a group consisting of N-acetylneuraminic acid, N-glycolylneuraminic acid, free or esterified carboxylic acid, sulphuric acid group or phosphoric acid group. Said composition is used to prepare a composition for administration to infants aged 2 years or less.
EFFECT: composition is used to prepare medicinal agents used in methods of treating or preventing allergies or diarrhoea or chronic inflammatory diseases.
