FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of trisaccharide Gal (beta 1-3)-Gal (beta 1-4)-Glc. Also disclosed is a milk mixture of 1st level, 2nd level and 3rd level, which includes: a. 1.6–4 g of protein based on 100 kcal, b. 5–20 g of digestible carbohydrates 100 kcal, c. 3–7 g of lipids based on 100 kcal, where lipids include: i. LC-PUFA selected from a group consisting of DHA, EPA and ARA, where the sum of DHA, ARA and EPA is at least 1 wt.% based on all fatty acids and/or at least 0.1 wt.% EPA based on all fatty acids and at least 0.5 wt.% DHA based on all fatty acids, d. 0.25–2.5 g of indigestible oligosaccharides per 100 ml of milk mixture ready for consumption, where the indigestible oligosaccharides include Gal (beta 1-3)-Gal (beta 1-4)-Glc in amount of 10 to 500 mg per 100 ml of the ready-to-use mixture.

EFFECT: obtaining a nutritional composition for increasing intestinal barrier function and/or for preventing and/or treating intestinal barrier disorders in a subject, as well as for preparing a nutritional composition for treating, preventing and/or relieving a condition associated with a toxic effect in a subject.
