FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to functional diagnostics, and aims at diagnosis fetoplacental insufficiency. Echocardiography is applied in a pregnant woman to evaluate a cross sectional area of the aortic valve to be multiplied by an integral of linear blood flow velocity in the left ventricular outflow tract measured by the continuous wave Doppler. The derived value is multiplied by heart rate (HR) of the women and considered as a frequency of warm reductions (CHSS) women and considered as a circulation rate (CR) of the pregnant woman. Ultrasonic Doppler examination of a minute volumetric blood velocity (VBV) in the umbilical vein is carried out. Fetomaternal hemodynamic index (FMHI) is calculated in a cross-sectional trial as a percentage of the umbilical minute VBV to the woman's CR, and if the FMHI is 4-7% on 20-28 weeks of pregnancy, the FMHI is 5.6-9.2%, on 28-32 weeks of pregnancy, the FMHI is 8.5-12% on 32-39 weeks of pregnancy, a norm is diagnosed; the indicators below the norm enable to observe fetoplacental insufficiency.

EFFECT: technique allows for higher accuracy and information value of fetoplacental insufficiency diagnosis due to evaluation of a diagnostically significant indicator of placental function that is the fetomaternal hemodynamic index.
