FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water purification from mechanical impurities in industrial water supply systems. Proposed filter comprises housing, inlet, outlet and slime branch pipes, filter cartridge, cylindrical case with detachable cover, pipeline to feed water from inlet branch pipe to filter cartridge arranged inside the case bore and pressure gages mounted on inlet and outlet branch pipes. Cylindrical case and filter cartridge are secured to the housing from above. Note here that pipeline consists on angle piece with bore and tube with its top end makes a guide for filter cartridge face wall and do not reach the wall. Filter cartridge represents a slit-type cylindrical structure with face wall and bore to receive the tube. It is mounted on the tube and arranged inside cylindrical case with ID that allows fluid to flow along the filter cartridge surface.

EFFECT: increased time-between-rinsings, self-purification, simplified design.
