FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: common user channel (CUC) interface expander includes: a problem-board for a thirty one-bit binary code, where the number of each bit of the code from 0 to 30 corresponds to the primary address of the CUC user, and the logic state of this bit indicates the bus (CUC1 or CUC2) in which the said CUC user is located; a selector-multiplexer which switches one of the 32 multiplexed inputs into one output in accordance with a five-bit binary code on its address inputs; a D flip flop which remembers the bus (CUC1 or CUC2) in which the CUC user addressed for transmission is located; logic elements 4AND, 2AND-2AND-2OR and 2AND-3AND-3AND-3OR, which enable generation of control signals for transceivers which transmit signals LDO-LD7, CD, KP, GP and DP between interfaced buses. The unit for determining the direction of transmitting data from units for locating the system controller and locating the active controller also includes the necessary control signals, and the necessary information signals from transceivers CUC1 and CUC2.

EFFECT: faster transmission of data bytes between common user channel interface buses while meeting basic requirements for interface expanders.
