FIELD: geophysical instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: invention presents telemetric system for collection of seismic data and is intended for performance of field seismic prospecting operations for oil and gas. Multichannel telemetric seismic prospecting system has geophones connected to data collection units connected in series by sections of two- wire communication line 3 twice passing through all data collection units and central control unit with registered connected to it. Data collection unit is structurally and functionally symmetric which does not require orientation in process of connection of sections of communication line. Novelty of multichannel telemetric seismic prospecting system is that central control unit is so connected in series with one of communication lines that its outputs are connected to proper inputs of one of data collection units and inputs are connected to corresponding outputs of another data collection unit. In this case each data collection unit has orientation detector program- controlled from central control unit which signals orient devices of each data collection unit in data collection line which is necessary for formation of configuration of data collection line for each particular method of geophysical operations. Proposed realization of multichannel telemetric seismic prospecting system makes it possible to use networks of leakage of static electricity from sections of cable to frame of data collection units in each data collection unit and makes emergence of electrostatic interference impossible in process of recording of seismic prospecting data.
