FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic power drive includes a stator and a movable body. The stator includes a core having magnetic poles and a winding wound onto at least one of the magnetic poles. The movable body includes a permanent magnet and is supported so that to create alternate/reciprocal motion in the direction perpendicular to that of the permanent magnet positioning against the magnetic poles. The movable body is in alternate/reciprocal motion when alternating voltage is applied to the winding. The method of the electromagnetic power drive excitation for the electromagnetic power drive excitation involves control with feedback with alternating voltage whereat alternating voltage is applied to the winding during the first half of the control period in the course whereof induced electromotive force generated in the winding during the send half of the control process is utilised as the controlling signal.

EFFECT: reduction of component parts and expenditures required for the sensor installation.
