FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the starter-generator devices for the aircraft gas turbine engines and their starting method, can be applied in used in aircraft, ships, other vehicles and autonomous objects power supply systems. Main electric machine includes: a brushless synchronous generator with damping grid, exciter, sub-exciter and rotating rectifier. On the housing the main electric machine armature with armature winding, the exciter inductor with the excitation winding, the synchronous sub-exciter armature with the armature winding are fixed. On the common for three machines shaft the main electric machine inductor with an excitation winding pronounced poles, rotating rectifier unit, the synchronous exciter armature with the winding and the synchronous sub-exciter permanent magnets system are fixed.

EFFECT: technical result is aimed at the GTE starting implementation using the main electric machine.
