FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: controlled linear vibratory motor includes stator consisting of electromagnet with winding, vibrator equipped with constant magnet, and control unit of excitation current supplied to electromagnet winding. Current control unit causes back-and-forth movements of vibrator relative to stator. Control method of linear vibratory motor involves the steps at which there provided is the period without power during which the excitation current does not flow through electromagnet winding. Period without power is equal or more than 1/4 of cycle. Electromotive voltage is detected, which is induced in winding when vibrator performs vibratory movement during the period without power. Then there determined is offset, speed or acceleration of vibrator on the basis of the determined electromotive voltage. Then excitation current supplied to winding is controlled based on the determined offset, speed or acceleration of vibrator.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of current supplied to motor winding.
