FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and may be used to produce high-quality biologically active supplement (BAS) used for direct consumption or for development of functional food products. BAS to food having anti-inflammatory properties for gastrointestinal tract diseases. The problem is solved by the fact that biologically active food supplement having anti-inflammatory properties consists of powder produced from above-ground part of purple coneflower by means of its preliminary defatting by carbon dioxide at the temperature of 20-25°C and pressure of 6-7 MPa. Then nonfat material is ground in thin film rotating along spiral and having thickness of 0.1-0.5 mm at the pressure of 3-5 MPa and temperature of 20-25°C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce additive with high activity of anti-inflammatory properties.
