FIELD: medicine, fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: overhead sprinkler contains body with internal surface, which forms canal. Canal includes input and output hole, located at a distance from each other along longitudinal axis, and determines K-factor, which is approximately equal 0.121. Sprinkler also contains means for blocking outlet hole and thermally sensitive supporting devices, installed with possibility to hold blocking means abutting to output hole. Sprinkler also contains reflector for distribution of liquid flow on protected area of approximately from 13 m2 to 37 m2, density of liquid distribution constituting at least 0.034 l/(s·m2) at minimal operation pressure approximately from 48 kPa to 117 kPa and minimal operation liquid consumption approximately from 0.8 l/s to 1.3 l/s. Preferably, sprinkler includes thermally sensitive plate-like means for supporting minimal distance between output hole and distribution means.
EFFECT: combination of geometry of reflector and body allows sprinkler to ensure optimal values of fire extinguishing for residential premises both in consumption and in pressure.
