FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibrous and composite materials and methods of their production. Proposed method comprises cutting fibrous stuff to produce first fibrous material and passing it through first sieve with average mesh of 1.59 mm or less to produce second fibrous material. Average fiber length-to-fiber diametre ratio exceeds 10/1, preferably, 25/1, more preferably, over 50/1.
EFFECT: preset particle size material.
