FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to roll unit intended for rolling sheet materials to produce raised patterns thereon. Proposed roll unit comprises housing accommodating drive gear wheels linked with rolls via flexible couplings. Support axles rigidly jointed with said rolls are arranged on the right and left of each roll. Flexible couplings represent sets of coil springs arranged coaxially and having opposed hand in pairs. Roll gap adjustment mechanism represents semi-constricted eccentric bushes linked with support axles arranged in the housing to turn about their axes. Adjusting screws are arranged on faces of said eccentric bushes to interact with support axle faces. Said eccentric bushes have graduated handles.
EFFECT: simplified design, expanded range of rolled thickness adjustment.
