FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: ornamental dalles simulating natural marble are manufactured by preparing cement-water mixes with different consistency and containing, at least one of them, dye, applying the mixes onto substrate, preliminarily hardening at least one of applied mixes, vibration compression and final hardening. All mixes but one may have the same consistency, the latter having higher consistency and being applied the last. Consistency of mixes are controlled with quantity of water and/or surfactant. EFFECT: stabilized ornamental effect and simplified manufacturing procedure. 7 cl
