SUBSTANCE: method of preparing a packed gel-like cleaning agent for removing metal corrosion product involves heating a composition containing 9.4 vol. % amylodextrin, 34.8 vol. % orthophosphoric acid and 55.8 vol. % domestic water, packing the said composition bottles in liquid form and cooling to a thick gel-like form. The agent surpasses acid-based agents on cleaning properties owing to its structure and ability to dissolve iron oxide due to a complexing reaction.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a universal environmentally safe agent against metal corrosion, more efficient removal of rust, lime deposits and various contaminations from metal surfaces, ceramics and glass.
