SUBSTANCE: described composition, which contains: at least, one of α-amino acids in the total quantity from 0.1 to 10.0 wt %, selected from the group of readily water- soluble ones; at least one corrosion inhibitor in the total quantity from 0.1 to 1.0 wt %, selected from the class of alkylpolythiols of composition C₁₂-C₁₈; at least one non-ionogenic surface-active substance in the total quantity from 0.5 to 1.0 wt %, selected from the class of alkylpolyglucozides and based on natural fatty alcohols C₈-C₁₄, preservative in the total quantity from 0.5 to 1,0 wt %; gelling agent in quantity from 0 to 10 wt %; water - the remaining part.

EFFECT: removal of corrosion products from the surface of copper and copper-containing alloys, preservation of product glitter without destroying of surface structure.
