FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: one of the seats is spring-loaded with elastic elements and having the possibility of restricted axial movement, it is tightly adjoined to plunger owing to two forces. One force is force which is created with elastic elements. The other force is the force which is created with pressure differential of working medium in effective area of this seat. At the same time, compensation of changes of linear sizes of valve parts at their thermal expansion of couplings is provided with deformation of elastic elements and with movement of that seat within its limits. Also there is version of sealing method of plunger couplings with seats of double-seat valve. In this version the same result as in the first method is reached by the fact that one of the plates is spring-loaded with elastic elements.
EFFECT: providing the sealing of plunger couplings simultaneously with both seats of double-seat valve.
