FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: unit of fluid medium valve comprises valve body (30), valve stem (32) and handle (12). Stem (32) passes from body (30) and is arranged with the possibility of rotation around the first axis to control flow of fluid medium through valve. Handle (12) is arranged with the possibility of rotation around the second axis, differing from the first axis, and is connected to stem (32) to cause rotation of stem (32) around the first axis as handle rotates around the second axis. Adapter (18) of stem is connected to stem (32) of valve. Handle (12) is connected to carrier disk (16) of stem. In the first position handle (12) rotates around the first axis. In the second position handle (12) rotates around the second axis, which crosses the first axis. As handle rotates in each of the first and second positions, stem of valve rotates around the first axis. In the first position adapter (18) of stem and carrier disk (16) of stem are aligned along the first axis. In the second position adapter (18) of stem is aligned along the first axis. Carrier disk (16) of stem is aligned along the second axis.

EFFECT: improved reliability of valve operation, notwithstanding misalignment between valve steam and handle.
