FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: in one of the versions of present invention implementation method for optimising multiple aspects of pipeline operation using genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithm is generally used to provide evolution of allowable solutions totality via subsequent generations until termination condition is fulfilled. Each solution determines allowable operating condition of pipeline system. In subsequent generations current solutions are modified, and in each successive generation certain solution is removed from totality. Via recurrent generations solutions from totality are improved. After optimised operational solution has been generated the optimised solution for pressure can be generated using method of direct pressure optimisation.
EFFECT: lower operating costs.
