FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: target manoeuvre is detected on the basis of analysis of updating sequence of tracked target coordinate, i.e. distance, which is processed by a set of low-frequency filters tuned for a certain type of target manoeuvre, and following results of outlet signals comparison of these filters, type of manoeuvre is determined, output signal of manoeuvre detector by distance is compared by logical multiplication rule with signal proportional to limit permissible overload of target for its speed and altitude, following comparison results, decision is made on manoeuvre, and algorithm of Kalman filter assessment is changed, or it is assumed that lead-away noise is in action or detector signal is not available, and filter of rectilinearly moving target accompanying is used.

EFFECT: improved noise immunity of target manoeuvre detector.
