FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: sheet-metal work piece is rolled up with its edges fastened together in an interface to form a shell ring that is used to mould working surface patches of a pipe by pulse force action directed towards shaping surfaces of the attachments. The perimetre of an internal surface of the shell ring in any cross section is greater or equal to an internal working surface of the pipe in the same cross section. Double-layer profiled ribbed stiffeners are formed of the shell ring fragments not involved to mould the working surfaces of the pipe.
EFFECT: stable thickness of a thin-walled pipe combined with thickness reduction of a flat work piece that leads weight reduction of the pipe, enabled manufacturing of irregular shaped spatial thin-walled flush pipes of the connectors with high accuracy arrangement of their working surfaces and improved manufacturing efficiency.
