FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification of fluids from ferromagnetic colloidal particles and can be used in various industrial branches for separation of iron sulphide from viscous oil flow. Electromagnetic filter comprises cylindrical casing from nonmagnetic material accommodating filtration elements 4 and magnetisation system 5 arranged inside said casing. Filtration elements are made from magnetically soft material and make cylinders with chamfers on their faces, said cylinders being secured on lengthwise crossarms 3 from nonmagnetic material and space apart to form 3D ordered structure. Lengthwise crossarms 3 are fastened on crosswise crossarms 2 from nonmagnetic material to make cartridge 7 consisting of two telescoping matrices that represent two rings 1 from nonmagnetic material with a set of crosswise crossarms.
EFFECT: high-efficiency filter with low drag, longer life.
