FIELD: separation of relatively magnetic and nonmagnetic particles in suspended position in liquid flow. SUBSTANCE: in course of separation of relatively magnetic mineral particles Pm having magnetic susceptibility Xm, with Xm > 0 and relatively nonmagnetic particles Pn having magnetic susceptibility Xn, with Xm > xN, all indicated particles are in suspended position in flow of liquid which is fed to separation reservoir. The latter has inlet and outlet with channel for passage of the flow. Besides, the channel accommodates the system of base magnetized members. Passage of the flow and magnetization are effected so that particles are precipitated, mainly, on the side of the magnetized members located downstream. Magnetic particles Pm are most efficiently precipitated on the indicated side downstream to form highly concentrated deposit. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 14 cl, 2 dwg
