SUBSTANCE: invention relates to long-length material winding on/unwinding from coiler drum. Coiler drum 1 comprises expanding segments 3 with ribs 6 and/or locking plates 4, 13. Expanding segments and/or locking plates are arranged along the edges of coiler drum 1 to move in guide grooves 12 of coiler drum 1. At least one sidewall 7 of guide groove 12 or at least one sidewall of rib 6 of said expanding element 3 has axial bore 8 or groove exposed to sidewall of guide groove 12. Hose 9 is fitted into axial hole 8 or the slot. Hose 9 is loaded by pressure so that it expands to clamp rib 6 and/or plate 4, 13.

EFFECT: simplified mechanical structures, higher moment of rotation.
