FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: 0.001-0.1 wt %, in terms of weight of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), of a defined carboxylic acid salt such as ammonium laurate, 0.001-0.02 wt %, in terms of weight of PTFE, of an emulsifying agent of the type of a defined fluorine-containing carboxylic acid (e.g. ammonium perfluorooctanoate), and 1-20 wt % in terms of weight of PTFE, of a defined non-ionic surfactant are dissolved in a low-concentration aqueous dispersion of PTFE containing 1-40 wt % fine PTFE particles; and the low-concentration aqueous dispersion of PTFE is concentrated to concentration of 60-75 wt %.
EFFECT: dispersion is less liable to colouring a coating during thermal treatment, does not contain hazardous ionic impurities, has high stability of friction properties.
