SUBSTANCE: aqueous dispersion contains 20-70 wt % microparticles of a fluoropolymer, 1-12 wt % nonionic surfactant based on the weight of the fluoropolymer, said nonionic surfactant having the formula: R¹-O-A-X, where R¹ is a C_6-18 alkyl group, O is an oxygen atom, A is a polyoxyalkylene group containing 1-3 oxybutylene groups and 5-20 oxyethylene groups, and X is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and the at most 0.2 wt % fluorinated surfactant, based on the weight of the fluoropolymer.

EFFECT: obtaining an aqueous dispersion of a fluoropolymer which is not coloured after thermal treatment, with low viscosity at high temperatures and which does not crack during coating.
