FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: casement window includes a window frame, a window casement frame, a ready-fitted corner hinge, a connecting unit, a handle unit. The window frame is attached to a building. The window casement frame is hingedly fixed to the window frame and is installed with a window glass. The ready-fitted corner hinge is attached to the corner of the window casement frame in the position that corresponds to the hinge. The connecting unit is fixed to the window frame and has the connecting element attached to the ready-fitted corner hinge to support the ready-fitted corner hinge with the possibility of rotation. The handle unit limits rotation of the connecting element attached to the ready-fitted corner hinge according to the handle manipulation to fix the connecting unit. The ready-fitted corner hinge is fixed on the connecting unit in condition where the window casement frame is turned relative to the window frame, thus holding the window casement open.
EFFECT: development of a casement window, in which the casement window frame in open position at the certain angle may be fixed on the window frame, using the device that limits displacement of a rack gear actuated by the displacement of a sliding element.
