FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device for flap turning angle limiting with a hook on the left cover and with the right cover relates to bolts and other locking devices for flaps, mostly for doors and windows in buildings, in particular to devices for limiting the doors and flaps opening and locking them in the open position by means of movable elements located on the frame and flap, which are hooked up and unhooked to allow further opening only in cases when the flap is closed. The device comprises of a hook and a hinged plate with a slot having a flared end facing the hinge joint, while the hook can move longitudinally and pass through the flared end of the slot and to hook with the slot edge all along its length when opening the flap. A rack ratchet mechanism is installed on the plate and comprises of a rack gear in one of the slot longitudinal edges and a pawl equipped with a release handle. The pawl is disposed to squeeze out of the toothed recesses and move inside the recess between the left and right covers placed on both sides of the plate and overlapping with both slot longitudinal edges and connected to each other to be travel together and with the pawl along the slot. The left cover has a hook to engage the bracket rigidly attached to the support with a movable hook. There is an auxiliary opening made in the left cover. A release handle comes out through it. The pawl can be spring-loaded towards the rack gear or made springy of a resilient material.
EFFECT: increased reliability.
