FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: bottom reference mark has a rod. The reference mark has a stabiliser made in form of resonant tuning-fork tines. At the end of the rod there is a tapered screw made from material whose density is greater than density of the liquid. The rod is made in form of a hollow airtight vessel or from plastic or wood. The resonator-stabiliser is made from light metal, plastic or wood.
EFFECT: design of a reference mark which, when placed at the shallow bottom of water bodies composed of multiple-metre deposits, is stable and can be reliably identified.
