FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method envisages preliminary installation of bottom reference marks around the sites of emissions. A dumping barge with pontoons is positioned against the reference marks. At point of ballast discharge the barge is submerged with self-directional modules fastened to it. Then computer-controlled ballast discharge is made and the barge is recovered to the surface for the next loading. Self-directional modules consist of the casing with the following system inside it: rudder with drive - processor - sonar set - power supply source.
EFFECT: effective elimination of hazardous emissions from the bottom of water bodies.
