FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: cover for loading of at least one fuel assembly of nuclear reactor into transport container comprises body with longitudinal axis (X). Body is arranged with the possibility of tight closure of upper part of container. Upper part has one hole (10) for passage of fuel assembly and contains one facility (56). Facility is arranged with the possibility to support facility (58) of container chamber sealing inside cover at the distance from input hole of chamber in process of loading. Supporting facility (56) comprises the first lever (60). Lever (60) is arranged with the possibility to rotate around the first axis. The second lever (62) is fixed to the first lever (60) and is arranged with the possibility to rotate relative to the first lever. Cover also comprises external facility (68), (86) of levers control. The second lever (62) has seat (76) to receive sealing facility. There is a device and method for loading of at least one fuel assembly of nuclear reactor into transport container.

EFFECT: prevents propagation of radiation and provision of environment protection against inner space of container.
