FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to facilities for storage of spent nuclear fuel elements of a high-power channel-type reactor RBMK-1000, more specifically, to facilities for provision of safety during handling of ampoules loaded with bundles of spent fuel elements of the reactor RBMK-1000, and is designed for use in a "dry" storage of spent nuclear fuel. A tight case for storage of ampoules with bundles of fuel elements comprises a body, vertical stands and a regular lid with a weight-gripping device, made on the lid in the form of a central head and a duplicating gripping clamp arranged along the periphery of the lid. In the central head of the lid there is a valve for pumping and filling of the case with the storage medium and monitoring of tightness and a plug rod that controls it. In the body of the case there is a welded flange installed, to which a detachable temporary lid with the central lid is attached for the period of loading of the dry storage with bolts, a lattice is made from longitudinal plates welded to the flange at the lower side, and on the upper side of the plates there are slots, where detachable transverse plates are installed, and after loading of the dry storage instead of the detachable temporary a regular lid is welded.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase safety during handling of ampoules with fuel element bundles.
