Abstract RU 2404826 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, more precisely, to preparation of patients for various medical procedures such as surgery, which includes application of solution (or liquid) for local use, such as an antiseptic solution in order to disinfect the target area for medical procedures. Applicator device for application of local antiseptic to the skin contains a handle having a proximal end and distal end; base, connected with the proximal end of the handle; hydrophilic foam, which is connected to the base, and at least one abrasive layer is connected with a hydrophilic foam. Hydrophilic foam is designed to apply local antiseptic on the skin. The abrasive layer and the hydrophilic foam together are suitable for application of local antiseptic on the skin. Applicator system, in turn, contains the applicator device including hydrophilic foam designed to absorb local antiseptic and a case designed to keep at least part of the applicator device. Method of application of local antiseptic to the skin contains application of local antiseptic in the above-mentioned applicator device, and application of local antiseptic, using the applicator device by applying of the required portions of local antiseptic to the target area of skin by contacting the applicator with the skin.

EFFECT: invention enables to keep efficiently an antiseptic solution, excluding its leak, it is easy to distribute a required amount of solution to the target area, to facilitate treatment of the target area by scraping the epidermis of the patient's body to remove bacteria and increase the effectiveness of disinfection.
