SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Applicator for liquids of medical use contains a handle section containing a hollow cylindrical element, fluid container embedded in the cylindrical element, and means for splitting the fluid container. Application section contains a mounting plate of the applicator pad attached to the lower end of the cylindrical element, forming an inclined section, and an applicator pad attached to the mounting plate. Mounting plate has a side section thickened at the peripheral edge, base bottom section made in the form of a recess in the center, inclined drain hole open at an angle relative to the base bottom section so that a solution released and withdrawn from the liquid container near the center of the base bottom section, flows out to the distal end of the mounting plate. Overflow barrier is made in the base bottom section in the form of an arc or in the form of a sickle in the direction of the distal end of the mounting plate from the inclined drain hole. Inclined drain hole is located in the central part of the arc of the overflow barrier. Overflow barrier is higher than the side section.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring accurate application of a given amount of fluid.
