SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely, a sensor system for monitoring the concentration of analyte in physiological fluid, a method for manufacturing a flexible electronic pad for use in a sensor system and a method for manufacturing a sensor system. The sensor system includes an analyte sensor, a flexible electronic pad, an applicator device, and the second adhesive layer. The analyte sensor is made with the possibility of at least partial implantation into tissue of the user’s body. The flexible electronic pad contains a flexible circuit board, an electronic component, a flexible protective layer, the first adhesive layer. The flexible circuit board has flexible substrate and conductive tracks located on it. The electronic component of performing analyte measurement using the analyte sensor is attached to the flexible circuit board and/or integrated into it. The flexible protective layer at least partially covers the upper side of the flexible circuit board. The first adhesive layer is located on the lower side of the flexible electronic pad and is made with the possibility of gluing the flexible electronic pad to the user’s skin. The applicator device is designed to apply the flexible electronic pad to the user’s skin, and it contains an insertion needle for inserting the analyte sensor into the body tissue. The second adhesive layer for gluing the flexible electronic pad to the applicator device before applying the flexible electronic pad to the user’s skin is located above the electronic component and conductive tracks. The sensor system, before the introduction of the analyte sensor into the body tissue, is in a configuration, in which the analyte sensor is electrically disconnected from the flexible circuit board before the introduction. A drive mechanism is provided, designed in such a way that, when the analyte sensor is inserted, the electrical contact of the electrical contact of the analyte sensor with the contact pad of the flexible circuit board is provided. In the manufacture of the flexible electronic pad, a flexible circuit board and an electronic component are provided. The electronic component is assembled with the flexible circuit board by attaching the electronic component to the flexible circuit board and/or embedding the electronic component into the flexible circuit board. A flexible protective layer is provided. The upper side of the flexible circuit board is at least partially covered with the protective layer. On the lower side of the flexible electronic pad, the first adhesive layer is provided, made with the possibility of gluing the flexible electronic pad to the user’s skin. A sensor system is provided for monitoring the concentration of analyte in physiological fluid, due to the second adhesive layer, the flexible electronic pad is safely transferred from the applicator device to the user’s skin, due to the fact that this adhesive layer is located above electronic components and conductive tracks, their position is stable, deformation is prevented, the electronic pad is protected from crumpling before being applied to the user’s skin. In the manufacture of the sensor system, the flexible electronic pad is glued to the applicator device by means of the second adhesive layer.
