FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry and can be used in equipment used to assemble spring units for furniture, automotive seats etc. Proposed mechanism comprises two collets turning in one plane. One of said collets has larger turn diametre. Besides its gripper can additionally turn in collet turning plane, when both collets turn in opposite directions, and move back into fixed initial position, when collets move back, to grip support rings of springs and transfer them. Collet working sections form closed ring to retain springs support rings in jointing the springs when collets move back into initial position.
EFFECT: higher reliability and simplified design, fast operation.
