SUBSTANCE: following components are introduced in serial modem with combined feedback: generator of "strict" evaluations of symbols (14) and the second switch (12.2), the first input of which is connected to output of conversion of LLR bits into LLR symbols (9), the second input is connected to output of unit of symbols evaluation reliability calculation (7), the firs output of the second switch (12.2) - to input of generator of "soft" evaluations of symbols (8), and the second output - to input of generator of "strict" evaluations of symbols (14), output of which is connected to the second input of SISO equaliser (2).

EFFECT: improved probability of reliable reception of information and improved noise immunity of communication equipment.
