SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry processing. The retaining device contains a bearing part for reception of the product being treated and a clamping device containing at least one clamping lever for fixation of the product being treated on the bearing part. The lever is designed so that to enable its motion in the direction of the bearing part; the clamping device is designed to be operated in such a manner that the clamping lever may be switched from the standby to the fixation position and vice versa. The retaining device has a bearing element which is intended for support of the treated product parts that, while in the fixation position, project outside the retaining device providing measuring means access to one or several measuring points on the product being treated.
EFFECT: invention allows to make a more precisely measurement of the product being treated.
