METHOD OF ESTIMATING EFFICIENCY OF PSYCHOTHERAPY OF EATING DISORDERS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B5/16

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, psychology. Psychological testing is carried out in order to detect patient's "personality profile". Initial diagram is built in system of coordinates where axes represent MMPI scales and quantity of points on each of the scales. Using original mathematical formula H₀ - "zero height" and <H> - average height of clinical profile are found. Diagram S-H₀, where S is tg of angle of straight line inclination to axis X. Specific values of coordinates S and H₀ of tested person are marked in form of point, corresponding to patient's profile at specific time moment. All set of points, each of which represents integral "personality" profile of patient at specific moment of testing is placed on diagram S-H₀. Direction of point displacement into area of positive or negative values, as well as its position with respect to average height of clinical profile <H> are used to judge about dynamics of patient's state in process of performed psychotherapy.

EFFECT: method allows to trace dynamics and efficiency of performed psychotherapy in patients with eating disorders clearly and continuously due to consolidation of values of all "personality profile" scales to one point and tracing changes of its position in process of treatment.
