FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relate to medicine, namely to oncology and can be applied in treatment of cancer, resistant to gefitinib and/or erlotinib. Methods by invention include introduction to subject, affected by cancer, resistant to treatment by gefitinib and/or erlotinib, of pharmaceutical composition, which contains irreversible inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Version of method by invention also deals with introduction to subject, affected by cancer and carrying mutation in EGFR (SEQ ID NO: 1), where mutation represents replacement of methionine in position 790 for threonine, pharmaceutical composition, which contains irreversible EGFR inhibitor.
EFFECT: application of inventions allows treatment of gefitib and/or erlotinib - resistant cancer by irreversible EGFR inhibiting due to formation of covalent bond of inhibitor with receptor.
