FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials, namely to processing of siftings formed in production of broken stone to obtain artificial sands for construction works. In compliance with proposed method, siftings formed in broken stone production are screened to removed fraction finer than 0.16 mm and coarser than 5 mm. Remaining bulk is separated in to fractions of 0.16-2.5 mm and 2.5-5 mm. Then 2.5-5 mm-fraction or its portion is re-crushed to fineness of smaller than 2.5 mm and mixed with 0.16-2.5 mm-fraction. Re-crushing of 2.5-5 mm-fraction is performed in conical inertial or centrifugal crusher.
EFFECT: producing suitable sand, complete use of crushing sifting.
