FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for bitumen production by oxidation of heavy oil residue with conventional viscosity of up to 200 c at 80°C to produce finished product and by its further compounding with initial raw materials to produce road bitumen, at the same time, prior to oxidation, heavy oil residue is added with organic residue released in production of ammonium sulfate from used sulfuric acid - waste from process of sulfuric acid alkylation of isoalkanes by olefins, in amount of 2-6 wt % from mass of raw materials, at the same time compounding of finished product with heavy oil residue is carried out at the temperature of 160-180°C with the following ratio of specified components, wt %: - when producing road bitumen of BND type 60/90:(80-75:20-25) accordingly, when producing road bitumen of type BND 90/130:(50-45:50-55) accordingly.
EFFECT: improvement of plastic, low temperature and adhesion properties, thermal stability of bitumen, reduced duration of oxidation process and lower cost of finished product.
