FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for synthesis of mineral additives for animal feed and can be used in synthesis of dicalcium phosphate (feed precipitate). The method involves mixing phosphoric acid with limestone at 60-80°C in non-recycle mode with subsequent maturing and drying the product with furnace gases at 120-145°C to residual moisture content of 1.5-2.5%. Mixing is carried out in two series-connected double-shaft mixers for 4-8 hours while adding absorptive liquid in amount of 40-70% of the weight of the limestone.
EFFECT: invention improves quality of dicalcium phosphate owing to increase in content of citric- and citrate-soluble forms of the available phosphorus.
