FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed compressor plant consists of housing 2 with compressor 6 driven by variable-rpm motor 7 and controlled by control unit 8 that sets compressor maximum rpm, air cooler 10 to suck air in from ambient atmosphere via inlet hole 11 in housing 2 and to force it out via outlet hole 12, and compressed air cooling circuit 13. Control unit 8 reduces said maximum tolerable compressor rpm to a certain level, when measured ambient temperature exceeds preset maximum level and increases preset maximum rpm with ambient temperature reducing below aforesaid level.
EFFECT: optimum efficiency at whatever ambient temperature and optimum cooling.
