FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed pump comprises outer housing 1 with front cover 2 accommodating inner scroll casing 3 and shaft 4 with impeller 5 running thereon. Inner casing 3 is made integral with rear protective armor disk and has front protective armor disk 6. Front armor disk 6 incorporates the flange that has thickness at the point of joint with impeller 5 equals or exceeds that of impeller 5. Toroidal gap 7 exists between armor disk 6 and front wall of impeller. Elastic filler 8 is fitted between housing 1 and casing 3 and between suction side cover 2 and armor disk 6. Pump shaft seal 9 is made from elastic material and represents a dovetail.

EFFECT: simplified design and ease of use.
